Sponsor a play safe! be safe! Workshop

Each year BIC Corporation provides grants to present 8 play safe! be safe! workshops in the U.S. and Canada.  Priority is given to communities:

  • with large, low-income centers

  • who can ensure attendance of approximately 200 participants

  • who can demonstrate commitment to fire safety education

Whether you are affiliated with fire safety, preschool, daycare, public health or Red Cross, you can be a sponsor.  As a sponsor, your responsibility is finding a location for the workshop, providing basic audio/visual needs, and networking with groups in your community to get people to the event.

The staff of Fireproof Children works closely with sponsors, providing support to make the workshop a meaningful event. If your community meets these criteria, we'd like to hear from you.
